Press release   •   Sep 24, 2010 16:00 UTC

Visitors at the Cfia Morocco trade show taking place on Sep. 29 through Oct. 2 in Casablanca, Morocco, have the chance to meet Chr. Hansen and discuss their opportunities to switch from synthetic to natural colors.

“We are looking forward to meeting customers and prospects at the Cfia Morocco trade show and to increase the region’s awareness about Chr. Hansen as a trusted supplier of natural colors to the North African food and beverage industries,” says Chr. Hansen’s Abderrezak Houari, Sales Representative, France, Belgium and North of Africa.Colors that make sense

“Chr. Hansen’s current natural color business varies from country to country in North Africa. However, the common denominator is that we see a significant potential in the region’s food and beverage industries, particularly within confectionery and meat and prepared foods,” Abderrezak Houari explains.

“North African food manufacturers are subject to the same consumer pressure as we see in Europe and elsewhere, to replace synthetic food colorings with natural alternatives. We are looking forward to discussing the opportunities with Cfia Morocco visitors, explaining how a partnership with Chr. Hansen will add value to their food products sold in North Africa and/or in Europe.”
